2011 - 2018 - Past President, member of Comox Valley Monarch Lions Club
As a Monarch Lions Club Member I created the 911 Reflective Address Sign Project that was adopted by other Lion Club members on Vancouver Island and beyond. Raised $80,000 for local organizations from that project that helped the most vulnerable people in the community. Past President

2001 - 2003 Christmas Dinner For People Who Would otherwise be Alone on Christmas Day - SIDNEY, BC
Created annual event, with the help of committee members, to host a Christmas Day Dinner. We had the full support of local businesses and citizens who donated in kind or money to make the event free for attendees. The first year we had 100 persons attend and grew in attendance each year. Huge success and continues years later.

1999 - 2000 Homeless Christmas Dinner, VICTORIA, BC

3 Years served as the Volunteer Coordinator to rent space, meal preparation, service, and cleanup of huge banquet buffet dinner of turkey and all the trimmings.

Proudly planned and served a festive Christmas Dinner for the homeless in the City of Victoria.

Welcomed an average of 300 guests each year
1999 - 2003 - Peninsula Celebration Society - Sidney BC
Planned, coordinated, implemented Community Dinners, where we unite our community over a shared love for food and fellowship. With the support of our Mayor, we have successfully hosted over 1,000 participants in these enriching gatherings. Together, we celebrate diversity, build connections, and foster a sense belonging.

winner of the Toronto Hotel Olympics with a tiny team of 5 person. We were able to display the huge trophy in the Hotel Lobby for one year
